Our 3 sons

The boys even got to carve pumpkins at Pap's house. I am not sure how much they actually did, though. The pumpkin slime grossed them out, so Pap did most of the work. The finished product was wonderful. See those masterpieces! I am pretty sure, Porter's has about three faces combined in one. Mia's ended up with a monster mouth and Dalton forgot to add the face, he just wanted to color his. Mommie carved Jakes for him.

After carving pumpkins, Pap needed a little relaxation, so he cuddled with Jake in his chair and rested. Jake loves to cuddle! He also found out that he likes to watch TV, this past weekend, too.

This past weekend we were in Ohio for mommies fall break. We went trick or treating with our cousin Logan and had a blast...although it was very cold!!!!! We are sorry that we didn't get to see everyone, there are just not enough hours in the day to do everything we want to do. We will be up again in December close to Christmas, after finals.

As you can see, we have made friends with some couples here and we trade babysitting. Here is Tadd playing barbies with Delanie and Payton, along with Dalton and Porter. They had a blast!

Here is the latest of our pictures. The boys are growing up so fast. Jake is getting so big and heavy. He is smiling all the time and cooing like crazy. His little personality is coming into view and he seems to be very much like Dalton used to be. Very relaxed and content on his own. He DOES love to be held though and we have absolutely no problem to oblige him most of the time. When everyone has their hands full, though, he is happy just to be in the same room swinging or sitting in his bouncy seat, which he has just about outgrown. Jake is still sleeping really well. He takes his little naps during the day, and sleeps from about 8:00 or 9:00pm until 4:30 or 5:30am. Now if I could just get myself to go to bed when he does, I would get a full nights sleep, too.

Classes are going pretty well. As of right now, I have straight A's, which is a newer experience for me. I think I only got straight A's a couple times in Middle School. The bad part is, I haven't had to do much studying...most of my professors give the questions that are going to be on the test, so we know what to study. Very helpful!

Dalton and Porter a doing so well in school. They both love it, still. We had a home visit from Porter's teacher last night (10/17/06) and she informed us that he is very good at school and is learning at a tremendous speed. He does things at school that, for one reason or another, he won't do at home. At least now we know what to make him do himself.

Jacoby at 2 months. Isn't he growing fast? This is a size 3 month outfit and this was the last time he wore it...it doesn't fit anymore. He's gonna be a Haas. :) Or maybe a linebacker, you never know.

Here are a few shots from when I was still pregnant, in the hospital and the first few days at home. If you can make out who is on my belly you have wonderful eyesight. Dalton drew, of course, Spiderman, and Porter drew, none other than, the Hulk. I am not giving any hints as to where either of them are, you have to figure it out. :)

I also wanted to include this picture of Jake finding his finger in the hospital...I didn't include the picture I took right after this one, I didn't want anyone to feel that he was flipping them the bird.

The other two are obviously Jake being loved and held by his two big brothers. Dalton was a baby hog at the hospital...all he wanted to do was hold Jake. When someone else was holding him, Dalton would ask about a hundred times, "Is it my turn yet? I wanna hold him again." We think Porter is trying to teach him how to suck his thumb, but we haven't verified that yet. He hasn't shown much interest in his thumb or his finger, and he isn't crazy about that stinky pacifier either.
