Our 3 sons

Here the boys are playing blocks together. Porter is building a masterpiece and Jacoby is trying to "help". He ended up knocking the whole thing down. Notice the smile of victory? Also, notice the pout of defeat on Porter's face. They love each other, really they do. It is beginning to seem that Jake is going to be an instigator. Like father like son. Hee! Hee!

Over my spring break we took a small trip to Mason, Ohio to Great Wolf Lodge, indoor water park. Dalton and Porter loved the lazy river. We tried a few water slides, but flipped over at the bottom and I think it freaked them out a little, because they did not want to ride anymore after that. Oh well, when they are older. Jake got to stay with Aunt Liesl, and I am sure he had a great time too. Aunt Liesl and Joann are good a spoiling.

The weather has been very agreeable here in Grayson lately. We took advantage of some sunshine the other day and took the boys to the playground down the street, right beside the police station. Here they are in action. They sure do love those slides!

Jake is working on his independence...sort of. He is really lazy when it comes to holding his bottle. He will only hold it if we hand it to him and walk away. Otherwise, he expects us to do it. Here he is feeding himself some smashed potatoes. He loves potatoes...he is definitely a child of mine.(Mommie) He is crawling now and has 6 teeth.

Dalton's 5th birthday was very interesting. We had a small party for him with just the 5 of us. We went to Lexington to the Explorium, it is sort of like Cosi, only on a smaller scale. We were going to stay over and swim at a hotel, but Porter was sick and we ended up coming home. As you can see, Dalton wanted a Batman cake this year, and boy was it hard to color everything in with icing. His cakes turned out pretty good though.
