We got rain the other day and Dalton and Porter decided to play in the rain/mud! As you can see they are pretty dirty. They got hosed off before they came inside.

Over the 4th of July, We went on a trip to North Carolina and Tennessee. Tadd and I visited Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, and East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. There was a waterfall outside the hotel in Boone, it was so pretty and the boys loved playing in it while Daddy checked out. Then on the way to Tennessee on the 4th, we stopped at a beautiful overlook. We went to a farm league baseball game at Twins Stadium in Elizabethton, TN. The Cardinals and Twins were playing, the Twins won. After the game we got to sit on the field and watch the 4th of July fireworks, Dalton and Porter absolutely LOVED running around on the field.

While we were in Ohio, we got to visit Mamaw and Papaw Glaub. They moved into a new house, a historical landmark, the Headley Inn. The boys loved running around and playing in the little creek that runs beside their cabin. There are walls to climb on and things to jump over.

Back at home it was more of the same summer activities. I think 4 out of the 7 days of any given week, we had a sprinkler of some sort to play in.

We went to Ohio over Porter's 4th birthday. He wanted a dinosaur floor puzzle and that is what he got. Spoiled! Aunt Mia made him a very nice sidewalk chalk birthday card!

Jake is definitely a playpen kid. He loves to play in here and it makes it nice to take him outside and not have to worry about him eating dirt or bugs or whatever else there is out there.

Dalton and Porter like to pretend they are "Number 4"(Mulitplicity) sometimes with their goggles. Aren't they dashing!

Here is Jacoby at nine months. He is growing up so fast. I miss the baby in him sometimes. I look forward to him becoming a little man. He is well on his way.

Over Easter, we decided to take a trip to PA. We had a GREAT time visiting with everyone and eating like pigs. It snowed, of course and we had to take it slow on the way home, but we made it.

Dalton decided that he wanted to play soccer this year. He seemed to enjoy it at home, practice and games were another story. He got the hang of it. He did make one goal, for the other team, we thought that was pretty entertaining. He didn't even realize he had made a goal at all. Funny boy!

Here is Jake at 8 months, he is laying in the yard with one of his many girlfriends...Lorelai(Quincy). Dalton and Alyssa searching for bugs or something, and Porter and Neleh in the background are playing in the dirt, probably...they like to get dirty.
